Following intelligence monitoring of provocative social media posts, IDF forces and Border Police units raided the home of a Palestinian man in his 50s in the village of Nazlat a-Sharqiya in Samaria. The suspect was arrested and transferred for interrogation at the Samaria District investigation facility.
During questioning, investigators determined that the suspect had published content inciting terrorism on social networks and praised the actions of terror organizations.
Among his posts, the suspect wrote: "By Allah we will defeat them, and widow their women, and orphan their children, by Allah we will expel them humiliated just as they came to this land humiliated."
After that, he posted an edited image of a female IDF soldier with a bullet aimed at her head, accompanied by the caption: "Your prayers for her in the depths of her hell." In other posts, the suspect continued to praise terrorists and mass murderers, calling to follow in their path.
At the conclusion of his interrogation, the suspect was remanded in custody. He will be brought before a court, where police will request an extension of his detention to continue the investigation.
