Palestinian Authority Chairman Abu Mazen to deliver pre-recorded UN speech after U.S. entry denial

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) will deliver a pre-recorded speech to the UN General Assembly today at approximately 16:30 Israel time, after the United States denied him approval to enter its territory. Palestinian sources report the speech will focus on halting Israeli construction in the West Bank, particularly in the E1 area connecting Ma'ale Adumim to Jerusalem, which Abbas argues would prevent establishment of a Palestinian state and eliminate the two-state solution.
