PM Aide Denies Egyptian Warning Before October 7 Attack

Ziv Agmon, an aide in the Prime Minister's Office, denies reports of an Egyptian message warning Israel before the October 7 attack. In a statement addressing journalists' inquiries, Agmon says quotes attributed to him were distorted and taken out of context from private conversations years before he joined the PMO. He states the Egyptian message report was later disproven, and when he assumed his role, he learned "the described event was false and never occurred."
