A cyclist in his mid-40s was killed Friday morning in a collision with a police vehicle on Route 3, on the stretch between Beko'a and Latrun. Magen David Adom teams who arrived at the scene pronounced him dead.

The call came into MDA's 101 dispatch center at 09:44. Paramedics who reached the scene found the cyclist without signs of life, suffering from multi-system trauma.
