Police have been blamed for the teen's tragic death at the Haredi Rally

The tragedy that claimed the life of a 15-year-old during Jerusalem’s mass rally was preceded by clear warnings of danger that went unaddressed. Videos and eyewitness reports showed individuals climbing cranes and building rooftops from early afternoon, yet police failed to intervene. The building from which the teen fell—a construction project by Haredi developers near Yitzhak Navon Station—was locked and fenced. After dozens of people gained unauthorized access, the building manager contacted police requesting assistance to evacuate them. The call came before the fatal incident, but no preventive measures were taken. Emergency responders later confirmed the teen suffered severe multi-system trauma from the fall, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
