Qatar attempts to block Volkswagen deal to produce Iron Dome parts
Qatari investors holding part ownership of Volkswagen are attempting to block a deal for the company to manufacture Iron Dome components for Israeli defense firm Rafael at its Osnabrück factory, according to German newspaper Bild. Qatar's sovereign wealth fund controls 10.4% of Volkswagen shares and 17% of voting rights, giving it significant influence over company decisions.
