Russia calls Turkey's potential S-400 sale "very sensitive issue," confirms ongoing talks
Russia has officially responded to reports that Turkey sold its Russian-made S-400 air defense system to a Gulf state, calling the possibility "a very sensitive issue." Russian officials confirmed that Moscow has held discussions with Turkey on the matter and that contacts between the two countries will continue. The response follows Turkish media reports that Turkey sold the S-400 battery to enable removal of the US ban on F-35 aircraft sales to Turkey.
