Senate rejects resolution to limit Trump's war powers in Iran by 49-50 vote

The Senate voted down a resolution that would have restricted President Trump's war powers in Iran, with the measure failing 49-50. Four Republicans—Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Rand Paul, and Thom Tillis—joined Democrats in supporting the resolution. Senator John Fetterman was the sole Democrat to oppose it.
