Several UNIFIL soldiers injured in explosion in southern Lebanon

Several UNIFIL soldiers were injured this morning in southern Lebanon following an explosion that caused heavy damage to a UNIFIL vehicle, a UNIFIL spokesperson reported. According to Lebanese sources, the explosion occurred near the village of Marakeh. The incident follows another attack last night in which a UNIFIL soldier was killed and another seriously injured by a launch in the Adchit al-Qasir area of southern Lebanon.
