Smotrich: Big things are coming

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich on Tuesday offered further hints that significant political developments may be on the horizon, suggesting they are positive enough to justify his continued participation in a government he has previously criticized. “If I’m still in the government, it’s probably because I have reasonable grounds to believe that good things are about to happen,” Smotrich said. “Time will tell if I was right.” Speaking at the Gush Katif Heritage Conference, he added: “It’s reasonable to assume that good things are coming—things worth the ridicule, mockery, and humiliation.”
