Soroka Hospital provides update on wounded IDF officer

Soroka Spokesperson: Over the past week, 10 wounded individuals from the fighting in the Gaza Strip were evacuated to Soroka's trauma room and emergency department. There has been an improvement in the condition of the officer who was evacuated in critical condition last Friday from the incident in Khan Younis. He is now fully conscious, hospitalized in the general intensive care unit, and is expected to undergo additional surgeries. Since the beginning of the fighting, Soroka has treated 4,189 wounded individuals. Currently, 8 wounded patients are hospitalized, including 1 in critical condition and 7 in moderate to light condition.
