Suspected Serial Killer Details Chilling Strangulation Method
New details have emerged in the shocking murder at the closed ward of the Kfar Shaul Psychiatric Hospital. The suspect, Yoel Richardson—a self-described amateur singer who also claims to practice martial arts and study the nervous system—gave investigators a chilling account of how he carried out the killing. According to his testimony, Richardson first attempted a chokehold he referred to as a "high lock." When that failed, he switched to a "low lock," eventually using a leg choke to pin his thigh against the victim’s neck until he overpowered him. In an eerie echo of his previous murder—when he allegedly killed his own mother—Richardson reportedly tried to tamper with evidence by washing the victim’s face and neck in an effort to remove his fingerprints.
