Syria offers to help finding missing soldiers’ remains

The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, associated with Hezbollah, reported that Syria has expressed readiness to assist in locating the bodies of Israeli soldiers missing since 1982. Diplomatic sources told the newspaper that the Syrian regime has not closed the door on humanitarian mediation, and there is a possibility it may agree to hand over to Israel the body of Israeli spy Eli Cohen.
