Syrian President al-Sharaa challenges Trump on Golan Heights, suggests giving Israel New Jersey instead

Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa (Jolani) said in New York that he challenged President Trump over the Golan Heights during a White House visit. "You don't own the Golan Heights to give, but you own New Jersey," al-Sharaa said he told Trump, suggesting the U.S. president give Israel New Jersey instead. He added that the territory "belongs to its own people" and is not any president's to give away.
