Roy Iddan, screenwriter and actor behind the hit series 'Maniac' announced he is advising the creative campaign for Winter's 'Amcha Yisrael' party
Roy Iddan, the screenwriter and actor who created the successful Israeli television series 'Maniac,' announced Wednesday that he has joined the campaign team for Ofer Winter's political party.
Iddan has provided consulting services to different political parties in Israel.
He will now serve as a creative advisor for 'Amcha Yisrael' (Your People Israel), Winter's brand new party. [Winter is a former IDF colonel known for his religious leadership during the 2014 Gaza conflict.]
Writing on his Twitter account, he informed his followers of the new role while maintaining his independence:
"For the past several weeks I've been advising Ofer Winter and 'Amcha Yisrael's' campaign on creative matters. That said, as always - my tweets are my own opinion. As usual, anyone who writes that someone is paying me to tweet will be blocked. And as usual, if someone wants to pay me (really, really a lot) to tweet - my inbox is available."
One of the slogans being used by the party is "Winter is Coming", echoing the famous phrase from the Game of Thrones series. Commenters praised Iddan for what they called a brilliant creative move.
