Looming White House Summit

Trump Ahead of Meeting: "I Don't Need Netanyahu to Tell Me About Iran"

Moments before hosting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Donald Trump stated that he already knows the situation regarding Iran, warning Tehran that failure to reach a deal will result in catastrophic military strikes.

President Trump, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

US President Donald Trump addressed his upcoming meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, asserting that he requires no briefing on Iranian nuclear developments. "I don't need Bibi to tell me about Iran and Har HaMakhosh," Trump stated. "We know exactly what is going on there."

Warnings of Total Destruction

In an interview with Fox News, President Trump was questioned about the potential for targeting nuclear material that was relocated to Har HaMakhosh. Trump minimized the complexity of such an operation, remarking that if a diplomatic agreement is not reached, taking down the facility would be straightforward. He also expressed frustration with Netanyahu's public statements on the matter, noting that he asked the Prime Minister why he made public declarations rather than speaking to him directly.

An Ultimatum to Tehran

President Trump issued a severe warning to Iranian leadership, stating that if Iran fails to reach a deal, he will return to finish the job. He detailed potential operational capabilities, claiming that all Iranian bridges could be destroyed in under an hour and its entire power grid eliminated within a single day. While emphasizing a preference to avoid destroying the nation, Trump affirmed that Iranian officials understand his willingness to act if negotiations collapse.
