Trump notifies Congress of US strikes inside Iran on July 7
President Trump officially notified Congress that American forces conducted strikes inside Iran, according to The New York Times. In a letter sent Friday to congressional leaders, Trump wrote that US forces carried out "defensive strikes against targets within Iran" on July 7. The letter was obtained by The New York Times on Monday.
