“Trump won’t settle for less than all hostages,” Envoy says

i24NEWS [Trump envoy] Steve Witkoff to the families of the hostages: “President Trump will not agree to compromise on anything less than the release of all the hostages.” Witkoff added, “I wish we could have brought out more hostages and more fallen soldiers, but this (Edan Alexander’s release) is what was possible right now.” Trump’s envoys, Steve Witkoff and Adam Boehler, will fly directly from Israel to Qatar to participate in the talks set to begin this evening, Witkoff told the hostage families. The envoy also commented on Prime Minister Netanyahu’s conduct, saying: “Netanyahu was willing to take tactical actions in Gaza that others refused to take. Edan is home because of U.S.-Israeli cooperation. Contrary to what people say — he does care.”
