Turkey sells Russian S-400 system to Gulf state to lift US F-35 ban

Turkey has sold the S-400 air defense battery it purchased from Russia to a Gulf state, according to Turkish media reports. The sale aims to enable removal of the American ban on F-35 aircraft sales to Turkey. Turkey is expected to officially announce the transaction today.
