U.S.-sanctioned oil tanker Sibu 1 rescued after Somali pirate hijacking

The Sibu 1, an oil tanker under U.S. sanctions, has been rescued following its hijacking by Somali pirates in August, the Puntland Maritime Police Force reports. The vessel was freed after being held for several months.
