U.S. Treasury Secretary says new sanctions halted 80-90% of Iran's international flights

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant stated that more than 80% to 90% of international flights from Iran have been halted as part of newly announced sanctions targeting the Iranian aviation sector. "I'm not sure how the Iranian representatives at the UN intend to get back home," Besant said, highlighting the extent of the aviation paralysis caused by the sanctions.
