U.S. Warns Iraq of Possible Israeli Operation Against Hezbollah
The United States has warned Iraqi officials of an impending Israeli military operation targeting Hezbollah, according to a report by al-Hadath. The message, relayed in recent days, stated that Israel is preparing a broad campaign aimed at disarming Hezbollah and will continue operations until that objective is met. According to the report, Washington also cautioned Baghdad that any intervention by pro-Iranian militias could trigger a severe Israeli strike on Iraqi territory.
