Man and Woman Killed in Head-On Crash on Route 90 Near Arava Junction

A man and woman, both approximately 60 years old, were killed in a severe head-on collision between a private vehicle and a truck on Route 90 near the Arava Junction, according to Magen David Adom (MDA). Paramedics pronounced both victims dead at the scene after extensive resuscitation efforts. “We found them with no pulse and not breathing, suffering from multi-system trauma,” said MDA paramedic Saar Shay. “Despite all efforts, we had to declare their deaths on site.” Emergency medic Eliran Halfon added that passersby had extricated the victims from the crushed vehicle before rescue teams arrived. The truck driver was lightly injured and treated at the scene.
