Indictment Filed Against 16-Year-Old Suspected of Acting on Behalf of Iran

The State Attorney’s Office has filed an indictment against a 16-year-old from the Shefela region, arrested on suspicion of acting on behalf of Iran. The teenager faces security-related charges, including contact with a foreign agent and transferring information to an enemy. According to the indictment, he maintained active communication with an Iranian agent for several months. The contact was established via the Telegram app, where the agent assigned the accused various tasks in exchange for payment. Among other actions, he printed and distributed inflammatory political posters, vandalized public property with graffiti, provided the Iranian agent with precise locations of ATMs in Israel, and even proposed his own ideas for additional tasks.
