Hamas Claims Israeli Special Forces Tried to Kidnap Commander Disguised as Women

In an official statement, Hamas alleges that a covert IDF unit disguised as women entered the city of Khan Younis this morning in an attempt to abduct Ahmad Kamel Sarhan, commander in the Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades. According to Hamas, Sarhan thwarted the operation but was killed in direct combat, becoming what the group calls a “martyr.” The statement adds: "This ongoing Zionist terrorism and the rising threats of forced displacement — the latest of which occurred this morning in Khan Younis — will not shake our people's determination or push them to surrender to displacement plans."
