PM Netanyahu Congratulates Eurovision Star Yuval Raphael: “You Lifted Israel Among the Nations”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Yuval Raphael, Israel’s representative to Eurovision 2025, congratulating her on winning second place in the competition. "You brought immense pride and honor to our country," Netanyahu told her. "You were in a shelter, fighting for your life — and now you're representing the life of all of us. What you did there, Yuval, lifted Israel’s name among the nations. When you stood there and raised your hands saying ‘Am Yisrael Chai’ — it shook all of our hearts. Well done, you are wonderful." Raphael responded: "All I wanted was to bring pride to this country. What matters most is that our hostages come home — that they can be here with us, to celebrate and to heal." Netanyahu added: "We're working very hard on that, and you gave us all a boost. You're the real winner there. To achieve what you did at just 24 — extraordinary. Many blessings."
