PM Netanyahu Speaks with President Trump Following Washington Embassy Tragedy and Discusses Gaza War, Iran

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a phone call today (Thursday) with U.S. President Donald Trump. The conversation opened with President Trump expressing deep sorrow over the brutal killing of two Israeli embassy employees in Washington, Yaron Lishinsky and Sarah Milgram, of blessed memory. Netanyahu thanked Trump for his administration’s efforts to combat antisemitism in the United States, calling them vital and appreciated. The two leaders also discussed the ongoing war in Gaza. President Trump voiced his full support for Netanyahu’s stated goals: The release of all Israeli hostages The destruction of Hamas The advancement of the Trump peace plan They also reaffirmed their shared commitment to preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
