Government Rejects Claims of PM’s Ban on Shin Bet Chief Appointment

Government Secretary Yossi Fuchs sent a response letter to the Movement for Quality Government's claim that there is a prohibition on the Prime Minister appointing a Shin Bet chief. "No such prohibition exists, as the court ruling addressed only the dismissal of a Shin Bet chief, which has since become irrelevant following his resignation from the position."
