Witkoff responds: Hamas' answer is completely unacceptable.

Witkoff said, "Hamas's response is completely unacceptable and only sets us back. Hamas must accept the framework proposal we submitted as a basis for proximity talks, which we can begin immediately in the coming week. This is the only way we can finalize a 60-day ceasefire agreement in the coming days, in which half of the living hostages and half of those who have passed away will return home to their families, and in which we can conduct substantive negotiations in good faith during the proximity talks to try to reach a permanent ceasefire."
