Gaza Reconstruction: Unlike Witkoff’s original proposal, Hamas demands the reconstruction of Gaza’s infrastructure, including hospitals, schools, and bakeries, with construction materials allowed into the Strip. Reconstruction plans must be formulated within 60 days of negotiations to end the war. 5. Negotiation Timeline: Talks for a permanent ceasefire must begin on the first day of the ceasefire, with an “independent technocrats’ committee” managing Gaza under an Egyptian plan starting the following day. 6. Long-Term Ceasefire: A truce lasting 5 to 7 years between Israel and Hamas.
