IDF's Historic Naval Strike: Sa’ar 6 Missiles Hit Yemen Port
After long preparations, the IDF struck the docks at the Hodeidah port and other port infrastructure this morning using missiles launched from missile ships. An advanced Sa’ar 6-class missile ship participated in the strike. As part of the attack, two precise, long-range missiles were launched from a distance of hundreds of kilometers. The IDF describes the strike as “initial and unprecedented.” The operation was carried out from a significant distance from Israeli territory, with the ships setting out from the northern Red Sea. The IDF states that numerous measures were taken to conceal the ships’ activities for the operation. Female Navy combatants, who make up about a quarter of the fighters in the missile boat flotilla, also participated in the strike.
