Police Uncover Suspected Explosive Device in Netanya

Detectives from the Sharon Region’s Crime Fighting Unit (YLP) conducted a proactive search in a residential building located within a complex in the Agamim neighborhood of the city. During the search, they located a suspicious object in a storage unit, which a bomb disposal expert confirmed to be a ready-to-use explosive device. Following the search, police detained the individual in possession of the storage unit. Residents of the surrounding buildings are currently being evacuated until the police bomb disposal team neutralizes the device.
