Opposition Leader Lapid: “Hamas Is Responsible for Gaza Starvation”

Opposition leader Yair Lapid delivered a televised statement warning that “the campaign in Gaza is out of control.” He accused the Netanyahu government of failure and said, “Each time we withdraw, Hamas booby-traps roads and homes, waiting for our return.” Addressing humanitarian concerns, Lapid stated: “Hamas is responsible for the starvation in Gaza—not Israel. The IDF does not starve civilians, and doing so contradicts our security and diplomatic interests.”
