Israeli Radio Host Calls for $10 Billion Lawsuit Against New York Times

Prominent Israeli broadcaster Yaakov Bardugo opened his show on Galei Yisrael with a fiery call for legal action against The New York Times, accusing the paper of spreading misinformation through a widely circulated image he called a “fake starvation photo.” “Israel must sue The New York Times for $10 billion over this manipulated image that reached tens of millions,” Bardugo said. “This is exactly how public perception is engineered.” Bardugo also urged personal lawsuits against the journalists who authored the controversial piece, as well as legal action against Haaretz, which echoed the story in Hebrew media.
