IDF Conducts Targeted Strike in Central Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces carried out a targeted strike earlier today in the Nuseirat area of central Gaza, according to the IDF spokesperson. The operation, led by the Southern Command and executed using Air Force aircraft, targeted a Palestinian Islamic Jihad operative who was reportedly planning an imminent terror attack against Israeli troops. IDF units remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue operations to eliminate any immediate threats, the spokesperson added.
