Norwegian Airlines to Resume Flights to Israel After Two-Year Hiatus
Norwegian Airlines has announced it will restart flights between Copenhagen and Tel Aviv on April 1, 2026, following a suspension of more than two years. The airline halted its Israel routes in October 2023, citing ongoing conflict and safety considerations. The resumption comes amid a broader recovery in international air travel, with Ben-Gurion Airport reporting a significant rise in passenger traffic in October 2025 after two years of uncertainty. Other carriers, including British Airways, Iberia, Swiss, Eurowings, and SAS, have also confirmed plans to renew flights to Israel.
