Report: Some Rafah Terrorists Escaped, Most Killed by IDF

A report from the Saudi channel Al-Sharq claims that several terrorists trapped in tunnels in Rafah have recently managed to escape and reach areas under Hamas control in the Gaza Strip. At the same time, Hamas reportedly confirmed IDF footage showing terrorists being killed by the Israeli Air Force as they attempted to exit the tunnels. According to one source, Hamas estimates that the IDF eliminated most of the terrorists caught in the tunnels in recent weeks, while some were captured. The sources did not specify how many terrorists remain alive, were captured, or were killed, but they claim that at the start of the ceasefire on October 10, between 60 and 80 terrorists were still alive. Hamas officials said they have had no contact with the terrorists in Rafah for months. According to one official, some of the terrorists in the Rafah tunnels are senior members of Hamas’s military wing in the Rafah Battalion.
