Iranian Basij intelligence chief killed in same strike as commander

Esmaeil Ahmadi, head of intelligence for Iran's Basij forces with a rank equivalent to Brigadier General, was killed in the same strike that eliminated Basij commander Gholam Reza Soleimani several days ago, according to Iran's Tasnim news agency cited by Al Jazeera and Arab media outlets. The strike targeted senior leadership of the paramilitary Basij organization.
