IDF strikes Iranian nuclear weapons development facility in Tehran

The Israeli Air Force struck the Malek-ashtar University facility in Tehran, a strategic research and development site used by Iran's military industries to develop nuclear weapon components and ballistic missiles, the IDF announced. The facility, subordinate to Iran's Defense Ministry, is internationally sanctioned for its role in advancing Iran's nuclear program. The strike was part of recent operations in Tehran and represents a continued effort to degrade Iran's capability to obtain nuclear weapons, the IDF stated, adding it will not allow the Iranian regime to acquire such weapons.
