Hezbollah reports clashes with IDF in southern Lebanon villages

Hezbollah claims direct clashes with IDF forces in the villages of Shema and al-Biyadheh in southern Lebanon. The IDF had previously controlled these villages before withdrawing as part of the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah at the end of November 2024. On November 20, 2024, Lieutenant Colonel (res.) Ze'ev Erlich and Sergeant Gur Kehati were killed in a clash with Hezbollah fighters in the village of Shema.
