German midfielder Lewis Holtby retires from football at 35

Lewis Holtby, the 35-year-old German midfielder, has announced his retirement from professional football. Holtby, who represented Germany at international level and played for clubs including Tottenham Hotspur and Schalke 04 during his career, is hanging up his boots.
