Yemen's Presidential Council chief says Operation "Yemen Dawn" aims to stop Houthi threats to neighbors

Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council, stated that Operation "Yemen Dawn" was launched after all opportunities for calm with Houthi militias were exhausted. The operation aims to prevent any group from threatening Yemen's neighbors and international shipping lanes. Al-Alimi said Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia targeted airports and civilian facilities, extending to Mecca and Medina, crossing every red line. He added that operations will continue to protect Taiz and open its roads.
