No More Hiding: New "Stand-In" Strategy Puts Bombs Directly on Underground Bunkers
A senior IDF officer has revealed a dramatic shift in strategy, with Israeli and American jets now maintaining a constant presence directly above Iranian targets to ensure total destruction.

In a significant tactical shift, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) and the United States military have moved from long-range strikes to a "Stand-in" approach, allowing for a constant and lethal presence in the skies above Iran. A senior IDF officer revealed that following the systematic dismantling of Iran’s air defense networks, the coalition now enjoys nearly total freedom of action. This "opening of the skies" has paved the way for massive American bombers and Israeli fighter jets to loiter directly over high-value targets, ensuring that any attempt by the regime to launch a counterattack is neutralized within seconds of detection.
The "Stand-In" Era
The transition to "Stand-in" operations represents a new level of military dominance. Previously, aircraft utilized "Stand-off" methods, firing long-range munitions from a safe distance to avoid enemy defenses. Now, pilots are dropping bombs directly onto strategic targets, including underground command centers, deeply buried nuclear facilities, and mobile missile launchers. The senior officer described the efficiency of this new method: "We have amazing videos. A truck comes out of a tunnel, raises a launcher, and within a few minutes of identification… the missile gets hit by our missile before it even had time to launch."
This acceleration of the operational pace comes despite ongoing diplomatic talks in Pakistan. The directive from the IDF Chief of Staff and the Minister of Defense is to "accelerate the pace" of the strikes to ensure that Iran’s military industries are completely collapsed before any potential ceasefire. The officer emphasized that the IDF is not leaving any critical factories standing, including those producing advanced optics and missile components. "We don't leave such a factory standing," he stressed. As weather conditions improve in the coming days, the coalition plans to expand its continuous bombing campaign, aiming to inflict such a high degree of damage that the Iranian regime will be unable to rebuild its military infrastructure for many years to come.
