Houthi leader threatens Israel in Hebrew: “The response is imminent, painful, and surprising”
A senior Houthi official tweeted in Hebrew after IDF strikes in Yemen. What exactly did he threaten, and why in Hebrew?

Hizam al-Assad, a senior Houthi member threatened tonight (Monday and Tuesday) that the terrorist organization would respond forcefully to an Israeli attack on targets in Yemen last night.
In a tweet posted in Hebrew on his X account, Al-Assad wrote: "The Zionist-American attack on the port of Al-Hodeidah and the cement factory in Bajil is a despicable crime that will not go unnoticed."
"The blood of civilians and workers will be the fuel for a harsh and sensational Yemeni response. We will continue to support Gaza with faith and determination, and we will strike deep into the enemy and disrupt its movement until the aggression stops and the siege is lifted."
"The response is imminent... painful and surprising," the senior Houthi official concluded his threats in response to the Israeli attack.
Israel resumed attacking Houthi targets in Yemen last night, in coordination with the United States, with about 20 fighter jets taking part in the attack, dropping 50 munitions on dozens of targets. At the same time, the IDF also attacked Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, and in Syria there were reports of Israeli attacks in the Damascus area.
According to reports in Israel, 50 munitions were dropped during the waves of attacks, including on the port of Hodeidah and a concrete factory. In Yemen, there were reports of deaths and injuries in an attack on the concrete factory in the area of Bajil.
The Yemeni Ministry of Health announced that 21 people were wounded in the IDF attacks on the concrete factory in Bajil. The Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah TV reported that two people were killed and 42 wounded in the attack on the factory.
During the attack in Yemen, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar, and Shas Chairman MK Aryeh Deri were in the pit of the Kirya.
