We Shall Prevail, Despite The Difficulties
Rising Lion: We now deal with the head of the snake, says Defense Minister Katz
Defense Minister Israel Katz said that having dealt with Iran's proxies, the time has come to strike Iran itself.

Defense Minister Israel Katz released a statement with the launch of Operation Rising Lion
"This is a defining moment in the history of the State of Israel and the Jewish people.
"Tonight, the IDF is launching an operation against the head of the Iranian octopus to thwart its capabilities and remove the threats of destruction looming over Israel.
"Upon taking office, I set the prevention of Iran's nuclear program as a top priority.
"Iran is more determined than ever to realize its vision of destroying Israel.
"We are at a critical juncture where, if missed, we will have no way to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons that threaten our existence.
"Over the past year and a half, we have dealt with Iran's proxies, but now we are addressing the head of the snake itself.
"The IDF has developed, over the years and especially in recent months, exceptional capabilities in intelligence and operations—both defensive and offensive—that enable us to effectively confront the major challenges we face.
"I have closely followed the preparations and progress, the difficulties and their solutions, and the decision-making process—and I am filled with appreciation for the capabilities amassed so far and the IDF’s high ability to execute them.
"Chief of Staff, I trust you and this forum, and the entire State of Israel relies on you and prays for your success. Israel’s security, on the front lines and at home, rests on your shoulders.
"There will be many challenges and difficulties—but I am confident that, with your leadership and commitment, together with all branches of the IDF and a strong, united home front, we will prevail.
"Good luck."
