After arriving in Washington on Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk, who recently took on a key role in the Trump administration as head of the Department of Government Efficiency.
According to Channel 14 News, the meeting also included David Sacks, Trump’s newly appointed White House AI and Crypto czar. During their extended discussion, Netanyahu reportedly secured cooperation from both Musk and Sacks on advancing artificial intelligence, aiming for a full-scale partnership between Israel and the U.S. in this critical field.
With the U.S. set to invest hundreds of billions of dollars in AI, Israel is expected to be a major participant in the initiative. At the conclusion of the meeting, the three reportedly formulated a strategic roadmap for both short- and long-term collaboration, paving the way for Israel’s deeper integration into American tech programs. The agreement is expected to have lasting benefits for Israel’s AI, cybersecurity, and cryptocurrency sectors.
