The Israeli military confirmed overnight Sunday that Hamas violated the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip when an explosive device detonated within the Yellow Line buffer zone in northern Gaza. The Yellow Line refers to a designated security perimeter established along the Gaza border. Militants also opened fire toward the same area during the incident, according to an IDF spokesperson. Israeli forces reported no injuries from the attack and immediately conducted strikes in the Yellow Line area in response. "This constitutes a violation by the terrorist organization Hamas," the military stated. "IDF forces under Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act to remove any immediate threat."
