The funeral procession for Netanel (Nati) Shukrun, may G-d avenge his blood, will depart Monday night at 10:30 PM from the garden plaza in the community of Eli Zahav (Emerald Street) to the cemetery in Eli Zahav, where eulogies will be delivered.
Shukrun, 30, a resident of Eli Zahav, was murdered in a shooting attack carried out near Neveh Tzuf in Binyamin. His identity was cleared for publication hours before Yom Kippur began.
The attack occurred at Ein Re'aya spring, where Shukrun was shot and critically wounded. He was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Shukrun had arrived at the spring that morning with his eldest son to immerse in preparation for Yom Kippur. He is survived by his wife Merav and six children, the oldest a student in eleventh grade and the youngest four years old.
Shukrun worked as an information systems analyst at Hachshara Insurance Company. His wife, Dr. Merav Shukrun, is a lecturer at Ariel University.
