Right-wing activist Baruch Marzel launched a blistering attack Wednesday against Yaron Zelicha, who is running alongside Yoaz Hendel in the upcoming elections.
"Yaron Zelicha is the biggest liar politician in the 2026 elections. Prove me wrong," Marzel declared.
Earlier in the day, Hendel, chairman of the Reservists and Economic Party and Zelicha's partner, attacked Shas during an interview on Radio 103FM, saying: "Shas is the grandfather of all impurity. Anyone who encourages mass draft evasion - I won't sit with them."
Hendel went further, warning that without a strong showing by his party, Israel would be headed to yet another round of elections. "These blocs aren't getting us anywhere. I'm dealing with making sure Goldknopf and Deri don't make decisions here. I won't sit with Netanyahu and the haredi parties," he stated.
