The IDF Spokesperson announced that a military exercise will take place Thursday morning in the Zikim Beach area of the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council.
During the drill, residents can expect to observe significant movement of security forces, military vehicles and naval vessels throughout the region. Local residents may also hear gunfire and the sound of explosions as part of the training activities.
The IDF emphasized that the exercise was planned in advance as part of the military's annual training program for 2026, and there is no cause for concern regarding any security incident.
